Clybel Wildlife Management Area
Located in Mansfield, Clybel WMA sits on 6,700 acres and is home to the Charlie Elliott Wildlife Center and Marben Public Fishing Area (PFA). Visitors of all ages can find something to do at this WMA, from visiting the nature center to walking one of the hiking trails. Clybel Wildlife Management Area has diverse habitats that are home to a variety of wildlife.

Typical of Georgia’s Piedmont region, you will find old fields, planted pines, mixed pine-hardwood stands and mature hardwood forests. Management practices that benefit both game and nongame species include food plot rotations, mowing, prescribed burning, timber harvest and winter disking.

Hunting opportunities include deer, turkey, small game, and dove. Fishing opportunities include 20 different ponds, ranging in size from 1 to 95 acres. The ponds are intensively managed for fishing and offer anglers the opportunity to fish for largemouth bass, bluegill, channel catfish, crappie, and redear sunfish.
The campground consists of 20 campsites, all containing electricity, water, wireless wifi, picnic table, and fire ring. Of the 20 sites, there are 6 tent-only sites, and 14 full-size RV sites offering full sewer service. To make a reservation and see pricing please visit Go Outdoors Georgia.
