Murphey Candler Park
At the heart of the park, the serene lake anchors a landscape of scenic marshland and forest, encircled by a two-mile loop trail ideal for peaceful walks, birdwatching, and fishing—where largemouth bass, bluegill, sunfish, and channel catfish thrive. In recent years, the City of Brookhaven has made significant investments through its parks bond program, including widening the trail across the dam with new viewing decks, upgrading stormwater infrastructure, and improving parking areas.
