Wyomia Tyus Olympic Park (Ernie’s Trail)
This beautiful regional park of 164 acres was named after Olympic Gold medalist Wyomia Tyus, who is from Spalding County. The park features 2 large picnic pavilions, which overlooks a 3-acre lake, a 7-field soccer complex and a 5-field baseball complex. Although the park can get busy with athletic activities, the natural wooded, wetland, and open habitats foster great bird diversity.
